Hey there, and welcome to College Life!
You're probably asking what possibly could a teenage student be enduring in her life that is so interesting that she is compelled to blog about it and share it to the public. I am here to tell you straight up, if you come to this blog for teenage gossip, recalls of high school parties, and any other typical teenage angst, you've come to the wrong blog, so go ahead and save yourself from the rest of this read.
If you are still reading, hello again! I'm Dannia, a current college freshman who is here to share my advice from high school, but also my experience with applying for college, class scheduling, jobs and interviews, and everything else I will endure in my college campus career. Get ready, because with me being me, I'll have a lot of advice as to what not to do so that you do not end up embarrassing yourself like how I have (and will).
Although I intend to be a engineering major (watch out for my grammar, as math and science are my strong suits) I still enjoy creative writing and blogging. I hope that by sharing my experiences and tragic downfalls, I will be able to help you, or your student if you are a parent, avoid some of what I believe to be common mistakes in high school and college. Please be aware of the fact that these are my experiences, ideas, advice, and my opinions on how to handle or prepare for them. You are not obligated to follow these opinions and they are not meant to offend or disrespect anyone. Your high school and college journey will be different than mine, therefore, different methods of handling things are needed (look at me using some logical reasoning, go me!)
So, with all of that being said, if you managed to stumble across this newbie blog and brought yourself to read this first post, thank you. I hope you stick around and subscribe and go along with me on the rest of my high school and college adventures and learn some things from my mistakes and advice I offer to you.
